Levantine Hill Estate’s impressive track record for winning global wine awards has continued with the 2019 Levantine Hill Estate Pinot Noir last week claiming Best in Show by Varietal at the highly respected 2022 London Wine Competition. What sets the London Wine Competition apart from other competitions is that singles out and shines the spotlight on those wine brands that consumers really want to buy and have a clear market value for trade buyers.
This wine, which is now available on special release to Levantine Hill Estate Inner Circle members only, was judged best of all the many Pinot Noir wines from around the world judged at the competition.
Levantine Hill Estate was also awarded Gold medals at the 2022 London Wine Competition for the following wines:
- 2018 Levantine Hill Estate Syrah.
- 2016 Levantine Hill Samantha’s Paddock Mélange Traditionnel (Bordeaux blend).
Levantine Hill Estate’s Managing Director Samantha Jreissati said: “This is yet another great achievement for our wine maker Paul Bridgeman and his team, especially in a competition that is consumer driven. We are very proud of the 2019 Levantine Hill Estate Pinot and believe it will be remembered for many years as a classic of the variety. It is a testament to our never-ending pursuit to strive for perfection in all that we do. We think the public will enjoy tasting it when it goes on sale soon.’’
