Nine Medals at China’s Biggest Wine Awards

Levantine Hill Estate has taken home a swag of nine medals – seven golds (including a Double Gold) and two silver – from the highly influential 2018 China Wine and Spirits Awards (CWSA).  The CWSA has been established to discover the wines and spirits that will be major successes in the Chinese market as judged by 100 of the most influential buyers, importers, distributors, retailers and sommeliers in China.

The 2015 Estate Chardonnay led the way at the CWSA with a Double Gold medal.  In recent months, it has been the 2015 reds from Levantine Hill leading the charge with the Estate Syrah and Estate Pinot Noir both receiving the highest honors at the largest and most prestigious shows in London at the Decanter World Wine Awards and the International Wine Challenge.

Levantine Hill Estate did extraordinarily well at the CWSA , highlighted by the 2015 Estate Chardonnay receiving Double Gold at the awards announced in Hong Kong, with Levantine Hill Estate’s Mélange Traditionnel Blanc white blend (Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Semillon) also picking up a Gold, proving that 2015 was a sensational vintage across the board for the Yarra Valley winery.
